I used DVD X Copy Platinum to copy a movie DVD on Fujifilm DVD-R. It works great when played on my PC or laptop using WinDVD 7, but does not work on the DVD player I have connected to my television. All I get is a message "Parental Control Limit". The original DVD works fine on the TV. Any Ideas what to do??
Rob18260-- Not sure what your problem is--Can you try it on another stand alone DVD player and see if it works--If it does, then I have some suggestions--can your burner support DVD+R? If so, then you can use the + type media and set the booktype to ROM--there are guides in my sig as well--good luck Whitfield
Hey Whitfield thanks!! I will try another DVD player tomorrow and I just bought some +R and will try that now. Being a newbie, I'm not sure what bookmark means or how to set it to ROM. Can you give me some steps to follow or a thread to read? Thanks.
Rob1826 -- No problem--Lots of ways to change booktype, but I think DVD Decrypter is easiest--when you are in the write mode--click on Tools, then Drive, then change booktype--pick the type of DVD writer you have--thats it!--Have fun Whitfield
