    Alright some of my movies when I back them up and burn using nero "Video ts" folder the movie plays right away without going to the menu, but if i press the menu button on my dvd controller it will take me to the menu, so the menu's r there but aren't being played they are being skipped and i'm taken right to the movie. Does anyone know how i can fix this. Maybe if i rename the menu file so it is burned fist or something i am not sure because if i play the entire movie the menu comes up at the end but i would like it to come up at the begining.

    Hmm. The reason I asked is because if you have anydvd running in the background you can set it to jump directly to main movie. Then the backup will do as you're describing.

    Are you doing full disc or re-author in shrink? What steps are you doing? The only way I can think of to make this happen is re-author and you're adding the movie and the menus.

    The menu doesn't work when you reauthor,or they never did for me.

    It depends on the dvd,some go straight to the movie, and some go to the menu,not much you can do about that.
    Like Mort says anydvd, and other apps,such as Intervideo dvdcopy3 has a setting to jump to the movie,but that program is real quirky for some.

    @Sk8er182

    Does all your DVDs do this?

    I ask cause some DVDs I have play the movie without going into the menu screen first. I have a bunch that do this. More then likly its the structure of the DVD and it is structured to do that.

    So I agree with jim_dandy above. It is made to do that.
