Can you use AnyDVD or Region DVD + CSS in background while encoding direct from disc to HD instead of ripping to hard drive first then rebuiling?

Far as I know RB is not a ripper it you got to rip first and then use the program.

I guess what I'm asking is can you perform 2 steps with one task, sort of like when you have AnyDVD in background decoding while shrinking at the same time with Shrink to your hard drive instead of 1st decrypting to hard drive then running it again w/a encoder (RB, Shrink).

RB only transcodes and then rebuilds it does not rip it, you must first put it on your HDD then open it with RB and it will transcode and compress your file to fit on a 4.7g disk and then you can burn it with whatever program you use.

Actually, you CAN do the Prepare phase directly from the disc with AnyDVD running.... Just choose the drive with the disc in it as your source...
