I'm trying to backup a two disc dance recital that my daughter just had. Disc one is the smallest and no matter what I have used, Shrink,
Nero, it will not read it. The second disc worked beautifully with
Shrink. Both discs play on my computer or a dvd player.

Are you just trying to join them together and then burn them as one continuous file.I did a holiday 2 disc dvd for a mate the other day.Its pretty straight forward and you only need nero recode.

Put the disc in your burner. Drag the directory called VIDEO_TS to your hard drive. If it copies, then just burn that onto a DVD (preferably using Nero and 'DVD-Video'). If it doesn't copy over to your hard drive, then the disc is probably defective. Use Decrypter but in I/O tab, check off the Ignore Read Errors box.
