i have a vcd movie that i want to backup but nero always says it has a protection and it stops at like 20% with an error. The disk is perpect no scarches. Also i have burned some music on cd-r's, and when play them back in the car, cd player, dvd, walkman the sound is cuty like itz like the cd is scarched or something itz really p*ssing me off. it might be the software i use (windows media player, nero 6, RecordNow) or the cd-r brand ( data bank 700mb thank in advance
try getting rid of record now (nero is better) and try buying a better known brand like imation as for your vcd problem, download a program called VCD Gear and use it to convert the DAT file from the cd to a mpeg file on your computer, usually takes about 15 minutes i think (probably rong) but anyway try these solutions if they dont work i dont know what to say...
