Hi, I am trying to back-up an 8 gig movie .. with DVD Shrink.. the thing is that it can't read it due to some table error. But I can rip it with dvddecrptor.. So I am wondering if there is another program out there that can do the same jobs as DVD shrink..

there are many programs that will work, but none are free.
if you have nero, then nero recode will do the job.

OK if money isnt an issue you should consider buying AnyDvd it runs in the background and makes all dvds appear unencrypted.
You can use any dvd with several different applications.
    The most user friendy are..
clonedvd..you can buy this along with anydvd for 60 bucks (usd)
Intervideo dvd copy 3.. 80 bucks
    dvd2one.. dont remember
Nero Recode.. depends on where you get it.
The most important app with all these is AnyDvd,the apps I listed above don't have there own ripper. With AnyDvd you won't have to use dvd decrypter unless you have a scratched disc.

Clonedvd is one of the prefered packages on afterdawn, very easy to use.Actually, if you have AnyDvd, then dvd shrink, will work fine too,but I believe clonedvd does a better job with compression.
