What is the best way to backup all the drivers needed on a system prior to a clean install?

You don't back them up, just reinstalled them from the original discs after reloading your operating system.

Brand new vaio. The thing is they give you the ability to make your own nine cdr recovery disc. which I did. Its alright because after you make it you can reclaim 5 gigs of hdd space. I wish they just would have sent me a darn disc with the laptop instead of having me make my own...
