Hey, I'm pretty new to the whole DS modding/homebrew stuff. But I'm planning on getting the M3 lite when it's released. One question I have: How can I back up my GBA games, so I can just have them all on a memory card instead of bringing the cartridges around with me? Thanks
you have to get a cartrage reader. then you just plug the card into the reader and you can back up the files on a computer
As ur getting a m3 lite use a homebrew app called WRG Dumper it dumps ds and gba games. So wont need a card reader. So when you dump gba games, you have to start the app up and pull out the m3 then stick the gba game in and it reads it. Stick m3 back in and it will save it on your memory card. Then all you have to do is transfer it to your pc. But it does the dump in bits, so 2mb each time you swap m3 and gba. So if the roms like 12mb, your gonna have to swap it 6 times. But if you got them already, you might aswell just download them as a backup (its legal)
Thanks for the replies guys. Sounds like downloading the roms is the easiest way to go. I just figured that if there was an easy way to back them up myself, I'd do that instead of dealing with downloading them and maybe getting viruses or something. Thanks
