Backing up mp3's to dvd ?

    hi got a lot of mp3's and i wanna back them up as a data to a dvd will it play in my dvd player ? thanks

    can somenody answer me pls really need some help wiill mp3's play on a dvd player if burned as a data sorry maybe this question is tpid bit i am new to this things

    Moving to appropriate forum.

    Until about 3 years ago no DVD player would play MP3's on a DVD. Now many of them will, particularly Chinese players. If the manual or manufacturer's website don't mention it you can check for other people's experiences here: http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers

    Other than that the only way to find out would be to try it for yourself.

    thnakd for answering me and how abouto if i wanna convert the mp3's to high resolution dvd audio so it can play with any dvd player how do i do that ?

    also how do i add some vizualization so it can play with the music let's i convert the vizualization to vob and ifo so it can be recognized by the dvd player how do i put the music to with it N thanks for answering me

    First off, you need to understand that converting an MP3 to high resolution audio is like converting VHS to HD video. You'll actually end up with something that will be worse than the original. Second, if you're talking about playing it with any DVD player you're not even talking about hi-res audio - just DVD-Video quality. What you need to do is convert the audio into a DVD-Video compliant format and then author it to DVD with whatever video you want to have playing. You can find some stickies in the DVD-Video Authoring forum that should help you get started.
