Hey, I am trying to back up my xbox "Project Gotham 2" but after I transfer the files to my computer it comes out to 5.24 gigs, so how am i going to fit this on a cd? What can i do? Thanks
You will have to remove demo files, other language files, ntsc/pal depending on where you are located. You need to remove the contents of the folder not the folder itself, so just delete the info inside the folder. By removing demos you will able to size it down small enough to fit on a dvd. This game will not fit on a cd.
a question about that, i tried coping my project gotham 2 dvd via ftp but it wont copy the xbe files in the root of the dvd, not even if i use boXplorer or other hdd progs on the xbox. will the evox m7 bios fix this? ive got the evox +3921
I dont have that game yet but I plan to purchase it this week and back it up, I will let you know how it goes. Most of the games that are over 4.7GB will fit on a DVD after the demos are removed.
I dont see any demos on the "enter the matrix" but it doesnt fit, what am i supposed to delete to make it smaller? It is 4.77 gigs...
I think I read a post that said you delete a movie file, check the old posts. I just have it on my HD.
With regards to PG2 I just deleted the NFL demo etc on there and that was enough. I didnt have any problem with the xbe file using Flash FXP so cant help on that sorry
Ok, and one more thing.... what do people mean when they say "patching files".......all my games I have backed up work perfectly.....but I have just used nero and the "udf" option to burn games, but people keep tlaking about "until you need to patch the game..." ........whats that??
yup had the same prob and the guys are right, just take out the demos, you dont even need to take em all out if you dont want to, but I did
I am trying to back up my project gotham 2 game, and I am using WSFTPPRO. When I Select all the files to back up to my computer it's only 459MB. What am I doing wrong.
