I have alot of my files (music, documents and such) backed up on CD-R discs (700MB). All you have to do is move the files to the disc. How can I do the same with a DVD+R disc? Or can I? Cause it would be alot easier to have to deal with 3-4 discs instead of 15 or so.

    Thanks in advance.

I run Nero. I know I can't do it the same way as with CD-R as I have tried. I was just wondering the steps I needed to take.

when you open your nero up, just make sure you highlight the dvd option

and select the data dvd function

Well I did two will all music files on them flawlessly.

    Disc 1 was 4.34 GB (4,661,891,644 bytes).
    Disc 2 was 4.27 GB (4,587,797,793 bytes).

However, the third one was partially music, a couple programs/games, some pictures and a couple small street racing/car videos and it stopped burning at the same point (one of the programs, music, pictures or videos causes it to stop) twice. Once it was towards the end so I switched the programs, pictures and videos to the front of the folder I added and it then stopped at about 20% or so.

    Here is the log:

slow down your burn speeds 4x max
plus if your burning video and data and so on burn a mixed mode dvd
    udf/iso dvd hope this helps

I just burnt all the music I had to to three DVD discs (instead of the 12 CD-R's I had it on before) and put the programs and videos on two CD-R's. Thanks for the help.
