    Hey all,
Right i am trying to backup my windows because my (s)ATA hdd is being replaced so i dont want to lose my work and i have no idea how to do this, can i use DVD disks? Also i have just installed all the software eg AVG anti virus and zone alarm etc. I would like to back these up aswel if its possible. So when i re-install my windows i dont have to do all this seperatly! If its possible could you please right it out as a guide from start to finish just going to print it of and going to give it a go, my windows is up to date aswel so i would have to keep updating the bloody thing aswel!
    Cheers all

you can back your files up onto DVD disks but i dont think youll be able to back up the whole drive.

you could use a program called norton ghost to copy your old drive onto your new one so you can boot from it
