Backing up xvid files

    Hello,

    I am a newbie so please bare with me. I bought a new dvd player that will play xvid files, and now I can not seem to burn them onto a dvd disk. I have tried several times with Nero Startsmart. But the burn always fails.
    Could someone please help me!

    I assume you are creating a 'Data DVD' disk with Nero Express.
    Put the blank in the drive before starting StartSmart, this ensures that you can select the burning speed.Don't burn over 4x.

    ..therefore I assume you are NOT creating a 'Data DVD' with Nero. Do it.
