Backup 3G before jailbreak?

    Should I backup my phone #'s & Photos from the iphone before doing the jailbreak? Will it remove all of my apps that i downloaded from the appstore?

    I want to jailbreak, but need to know if by doing this it will erase all my info from the iphone.

    when i jailbroke mine, i dont believe it took everything off the phone, but you might as well backup your #s and photos just in case, it surely wont harm anything if you do.

    I think when I jailbroke mine that everything was taken off of it. Like said, it would be smart to backup. I don't see why you wouldn't.
