    Hi All,

First of all, what an informative forum.
Been very helpful for my search for knowledge in the looking for a ds rewritable rom.

    Cheers guys
I am most probably going to go for M3/R4DS or G6DSReal

However there is still one question which remains unanswered in my head...
what can I use to backup my existing DS games?

I'm intrigued by the G6DSReal which comes with a USB reader for the G6DSReal ROM itself... anyone know if it is possible to use that with my DS games, then simply copy to the PC?

    Thanks in advance

There are multiple ways, but you will need either a Slot-2 card or an FTP server, files and info Here.

    Interesting.

Not heard of a ftp server possibility before.
I have a ftp server. How would I use this with a the r4ds/m3 simply to backup my games?

As for slot 2 cards, do most of them allow backups or only a few?
I've trawled through a load of pages and have not found anything information regarding this.

I'm not sure, I've never tried the FTP server option before.
I've only tried it on my M3 Lite, it worked well.
