My daughter is getn a DS for Christmas. I wanted to get the R4 card to play my backups. Well my questions is if I have an origional game,is there a way to backup that to the R4 card or I have to get the backups from the internet.
You need specialized equipment to back up DS games. I dont think you can buy it anywhere but even if you could it would be very expensive. Its simple and cheap to download the games, so thats what is generally done.

Oh wow. Ok I admit I was way off there. I looked into dumping my own games back when I first got a DS several years ago and could find no way to do it. Thats obviously changed but I'd never looked it up again. I was right though that just downloading the game is far easier though. Quicker as well if the dump times listed in that guide are accurate.
