For various reasons I had to reformat my hard drive (which was E:) so I used Nero backitup to save my programs and documents. I saved it to an external hard drive (which was I:). After reformatting my hard drive, it reverted back to C: and my external hard drive is now F:
However when I try to restore my files the following happens:
If I chose to leave the option of - restore to original path. The following message appears: Cannot create a directory on the target location.
If I chose the second option: restore on hard disc selected path and choose C: this message appears: The necessary backup file (I:\backup of all files) is not present on the expected location. Please specify the new location of the backup.
    Can anybody please help?
    regards
    Trish

Change it back to 'I' and see what happens.
    On XP:
    Right Click 'My' Computer.
    'Manage'
    'Disk Management'
In the top pane, right click on the drive and select 'Change Drive Letter and...'
    'Change'

    Or point it to F
Please specify the new location of the backup.
