backup games with gamecube on viper chip

    i just got my gamecube finished with the viper mod chip is there a way to make backups with the chip? or is that a qoob only feature

    how do i flash it do i use a bba? cause i got the pre modified console from a site and the only connection that can connect with it is a lpt port is that what i use

    I've flashed my viper chip with the cobra12_ripper_dolup.vgc when i turn GC on my pc say its connected at 100mbs but when i run ripper tool the pc says cable unpluged could any tell me what i'm doing wrong thanks

    well when I turn my system on the pc sees it there, also says connected, then it disconnects, then reconnects automatically, check that the settings in the gcos ripper is proper, then try ripping a game, otherwise it could be something on the pc's settings
