I have been backing up my games with qoob pro for a month about a month. For some reason now, the games I backup are not 1.35gb but rather vary from 500mb to 1gb. I was wondering if it was the computers fault or something else I need to do. I have already tried a new crossover cable. Also tried gcom and original qoob bios.

You need a program to repad the iso/gcm back to the 1.35GB

I use Wiped GCM Fixer, This requires the knowledge of MS-DOS but will fix your gcm back to the correct size.

But most games are supposed to be 1.35gb if they are ripped correctly. I have never had this problem until now. Even some games I had ripped before that were 1.35gb are not 1.35gb anymore.

some ripping programs reomve the padding data from the image when ripping, games like Zelda Four Swords Adventures are only a few hundred megabytes without the padding.

If you're backing up with a Qoob Pro and GCOM, it should always produce a 1.35 GB iso when successful.

If it doesn't, then something went wrong such as a connection issue or a reading problem with the GameCube.

Also, if you use FireFox, it's known to mess up and stop the stream early, claiming that it's complete. Try using Internet Explorer and see if it makes a difference.

Thanks for the info. I have been using gcom and qoob pro and it has not been giving me a 1.35gb file. Also have been using internet explorer.
