I know you can make a backup of a backup with ImgBurn but I have a question.

Me and my brother wanted to play RE5 System Link, so I made a backup of a backup, I ran the backup's .ISO through ABGX and the CRC Partition came back saying it was bad, said something about there was 4 possibilities about why it's bad.

I know the original backup was perfect before I burned it because the original .ISO ran through ABGX fine, no errors.

I burned it anyways and it still works fine, it's just that CRC thing is worrying me a little. Should I ignore it or is it something I should look into? I don't want to risk playing this disc if it gets me banned.

    ABGX says:

Game partition CRC does not match the verified ini! There are 4 possibilities:

    1. This is a bad rip (the most likely cause). If you're checking a DVD backup
and have AnyDVD or a similar app installed, make absolutely sure the process is
killed! If this is a scene release, search for it on abgx.net and look at the
column "Bad CRC or Needs Fixing". If you see a <!> icon, hover over it with
your mouse to read the alt text. If it says something like "Bad game data CRC"
or gives the name of a fix (PPF patch), we already know about it. It's also
highly recommended to run abgx360 again with AutoFix set to level 3 if you
applied a PPF to make sure stealth files haven't been corrupted. See "What is
AnyDVD style corruption?" in the GUI Quickstart tab for more info on game data
    corruption.

    2. Your CPU/RAM/HDD/data bus is unstable and corrupted the data during
extraction/burning or while checking the CRC. Make sure to run the sfv and try
extracting it again (assuming you have the sfv/rars) and recheck the ISO/DVD to
see if you get the same CRC.

    3. Game data was intentionally modified for some reason. Microsoft does not
take kindly to modifications for any purpose, and even benign changes to game
data or settings will get you banned from Xbox Live!

    4. The verified Game CRC in the database is wrong (very unlikely).

Stealth was verified but game data wasn't

I downloaded RE5, if that helps any. Could it be the that I don't have the original .sfv that came with the downloaded .ISO?

when you made the backup of the backup did you create a iso file and then burn or did you just copy and burn at once with 2 drives? you should of made an iso with imgburn from the backup scan with abgx just to be sure and then burn the new backup. if you did all this and it still gives errors maybe you can try making another iso and the first one was just flubbed for some reason who knows. drives are so sensitive when making an image it could have just been a small piece of dust that screwed it up or maybe it got bumped slightly during creation or burning.
The disc you made from the downloaded files, have you scanned it in abgx yet to see if it has similar problems.

I have made wxripper backups before that the iso passed abgx and then i burned the disc and the disc failed on one drive when scanned but passed on another. so weird stuff happens sometimes.
