If there is a thread already started with the above information, can someone point me in the right direction? If not, I am using PSP Movie Creator to convert DVD to MP4 and would like to back up files rather than store on my hard drive.
Way 1: Need not convert, directly burn mp4 files to a data DVD with Nero or other related software. It is easy. Way 2: If you want to create a DVd movie playable on home dVD player, you need to convert mp4 files to DVD movie structure and then burn to DVD-R. Google Mp4 to DVD conversion tools: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=mp4+to+dvd
Thanks for the information. I have Nero 6 but it does not have the MP4 plugin. I see in your message there are AAC/MP4 plugins available for download. Which one do I need and how would I update the program with it?
Thanks again for the help. A data disk is exactly what I need and my nero program has the plugin for it.
I think You can burn Mp4 files to a DATA DVD without using any plugins. It seems that you burn many document (.txt, .doc, .xls, etc.) to a data dvd for backup.
I went ahead and burned a data disk and it worked exactly like I needed it to. Now I can copy 4 movies per disk and dump them from my hard drive. Thanks for the assistance.
