I know this question has been ask alottime, but my brother want to buy retail software to use. I have suggest alot of the freeware or shareware program, but if has to do one more step he rather not use it. I just want to get people opinions here who have use or try the retail version (store bought type )

    Thanks in advance!!

There is not anything legally available or that works at the retail/store level.

    Suggested programs include:

    DVD Shrink (free)
    DVD Decrypter (free)
DVD FabDecrypter (free or cost for more advanced version)
    AnyDVD (approx $34)

The non free programs can be brought online.

    Others may suggest alternative programs.
