Backup software suggestions

    'Well lets see I've crashed twice, lost all but a few files twice so yeah I think it time I set up a backup routine.

    I am a very slow experienced beginner so looking fo0r something simple with a 3-rade level interface but one that will do the job...primarily interested in keeping my jpg, docements, email and music files

    Oh yes, did I mention free to cheap would be nice to. Please advise before my machine goe...

    Thanks Phantom....I take it its a freebie. Cn you give me a short run down on what it does and how easy it is to work. I'd appreciate it. As I said I'm a slow learner at about 3rd geade level with computers.

    i personally have not used it but yes, it is freeware.

    that website is my favourite software site cause everything on it is freeware :D

    and i am presuming that it is easy to use. just know that if oyu need compression you will know :D (if your files are over a GB when you are using a 700MB cd) lol

    sorry cant help more, possibly visit the software homepage and read a tutorial or something, cuase i use norton ghost

    Thanks Phantom, I too, was looking at Ghost. On Ebay they are going for about $35. Know where I might get it for less? I assume it works for both internal and external HD

    yes it works for both.

    never buy software off of ebay. most of the time it is pirated sort stuff (so i have heard so dont get at me) and if you need tech support, you will be left in the cold cause it is considered your fault if you buy pirated stuff.

    and it does work for both as far as i know.
