now what is it that you want to do? do you want to make a backup of a dvd and remove the copy protection, or make a dvd backup and put copy protection on it?

It's a private movie so I don't like that somebody make a copy

It's useless to put copy protection on any dvd movie. Someone will find a way to crack it one way or another. Just read the posts here. Practically all commercial movies have been cracked.

I told you to contact Sony and ask them them about ARccOS. It's the best copy protection for DVD's in my opinion. The guys in this forum remove copy protection. The guys at Sony (and others) put copy protection in the discs.
