ok so the title says it all. Been a while since i played with it but i have the iso file i created from when i first softmodded...the xbox dont boot at all, hard drive clicks after splash screen=hosed...would it be as simple as using the ISO i created back then on a new hard drive and pluggin it in?
actually yeah it's that simple, this is why you make a xboxhdm cd. Your xboxhdm cd should have the eeprom for your xbox with all the files to build C:. Just go through the process of building a new hard drive and then boot option 3 and lock it with the eeprom and your good to go. Of course you will have to remod the xbox if the C: files aren't already modded. thanks for the respond. When i created my softmod cd i used the ndure mod...i never backed up the eeprom either. But i made Unicrons eeprom reader and that worked and now i have like5 copies of it just in case lol. But now the xbox is happier than ever with it's 120gb and more to do
