I have had my box for a while now and it is always having a problem with the signal.

It shows the picture and then goes pixelated and says bad signal.
I have the feed straight from the wall to the box no splitters.

I have the firmware 5.12.08 with autosort on.

    Any help would be great

Are all the channels the same, on the affected channels press info twice and post back the signal strength %.

Do you think this should sort the issue mate, or could it be the box itself...

I'm NOT going to say yes that will fix it I can only give you tried and tested idea's on what to do, im not going to take the blame if you buy it and it doesn't work LOL.

Try your box on one of your friends feed if possible but I doubt your box is at fault.

Right mate well got my variable attenuator linked it up and tweaked it, and must say it has helped some channels but for the likes of Channel 4 and stuff it still brakes up the levels fluctuate between 77-80 now. Any other ideas mate

Check/replace splitter if you have one in-line also make sure all your f-connectors are nice and tight.

If you haven't got a splitter inline then dont bother fitting one.

Have you tried a deep scan since fitting the attenuator? if not do a factory default then deep scan and see what happeneds, bare in mind it may take a while.

Well i have rescanned, deep scanned and still the same, its propper weird as sometime you can go an hour with nothing then all of a sudden it starts breaking up and making that awful noise.

    What do you reckon?
