Hello there... I really need your help regarding my files. I encrypted my files so as to secure them from my officemates. I am on a shifting schedule and hurried home for an emergency. I forgot to leave a message to my shiftee not to restore the OS for the PC i used for the encrypted files, and ALAS! He already restored an image of the PC we've been using when I got back for work. And so when I tried to decrypt my files, i can't decrypt them anymore, nor open them. I already tried some software but their no use on my case. Please help me redeem my files.
Your best bet, is to go to the Microsoft website homepage. Down the left hand side, you'll see a Support link. Click on it, then in the search address bar, type in recover encrypted files. You might find your answer there.
