I have modded 5 Systems so far

1 Hitachi (launch/arcade console) ixtreme 1.4 since march no ban

1 Benq (pro versions that came out around christmas) 1.4 to 1.4.1 back to 1.4 since march no ban (gta 4 texture issue's though)
this is my personal drive and i have played many games up to a week before launch but not going on live until after release date.

1 Hitachi (launch/pro) since april no ban ixtreme 1.4 no ban
played gta4 a week before release (offline)

1 Benq (pro christmas version) ixtreme 1.4 since may no ban

1 samsung (not sure how old but not falcon) 1.4 ixtreme since august no ban.

all consoles are used to play originals and backups, and are flashed at 8x. Good idea on the poll hope this helps.

Edit: All 360's are used to play on live frequently no issues thus far.

This is leading to bad rip games, IF anyone does get banned, post what games played. SO far people with proper soft mods seem ok.

oh, sorry. maybe we should make a topic saying how long and what youve done EXACTLY (like ive had ixtreme 1.2 before i flashed to 1.4 etc) and if you got banned what you played / did.

First 360 - Samsung MS28 banned with a copy of FNR3. Actually kicked someones ass online and went back to dashboard to find out "Triple Xposed has been disconnected from Live" never to see a login screen again.

    2nd + 3rd 360 - Both BenQ Elites, both unbanned.

1 console banned "360 pro" 1st gen hitachi with liggys firmware bout 1 and a half years ago. i was banned right after the fall dashboard update (when the banhammer fell). Played on live profusely with backed up games.

i think it would help for more people who got banned or not banned yet either to mention whether they play backup games on live or methods (supersticions) they use. My friend has a sammy with dunno if its ix or xtreme firmware (ill ask) and he has had it since a year and a half ago also and he is still not banned but he never plays backups on live and always has his ethernet disconnected whenever not on live. ima ask what firmware he has.

lol thats not a superstition thats just making it so you cant play on line. the only way to get banned from live is if you have a cat5 in the back of your box hooked up to the net and be on live. if you dont, well then, you are obviously not playing on live, so therefore you cant get banned.

Yup, I think they just said "Screw it, lets cut our losses and come up with an unhackable DVD Drive"

Perhaps, but nothing is truly unhackable. Even if it means making it so difficult to hack that only the most elite of the elite modders can manage it. I think someone will think of some way eventually and yes I know the hardware limitations they have implemented.

I agree, I think they know its not unhackable, but I'm sure they want to make it a lot harder than it is now with the MS28 and BenQs.

Thoretically speaking, what would make a system harder to mod? If for some reason tehy made a revised 360 with thin dis drive and cooler chips calling it 360 slim, I would think the slimmer drive woul dbe a pain to mod.

Oh lord, tavek, don't give them any ideas! They need to get the first design right before they go slimming it up! ;)

After reviewing the history of the 360, its development was back in what 2001? and came out 2005, so basically those design flaws are due to 2001 designs right. The ps3, I will admit is an awsome HARDWARe system, 360 is superior in software. BOth had bad failure rates and should have waited 1year each before rel re revision designs, but we flipped the bill with broken cases.

Nothing is 100% unhackable, and if you take a programing class you would know that.
Back on topic, I doubt MS will ban anymore, waste of time and whos not to say they have been sues just mearly coving it under the rug to spare the embaressment

About the slim design for the 360 hopefully its like the ps2 slim design which was easier to mod than the first model ps2. key word "hope" but i doubt it because ms knows about this generation and the modding, hence the banhammer. so u would expect them to beef up the insides. but as history shows no console worth mentioning in the 21st century was un-moddable thanks to the geniuses behind the shadows.

I wanna see what happens after the fall dashboard update. I frigging hope its not as catastrophic as last years. Cuz if it is, ima be really pissed at how ms is being so uptight with all this crud. by all means i dont blame them, its their business but sheeeshhhh,, BG is rolling in dough... lets see what happens......

If the technology is out for an IPOD touch so small to serf teh net is out, then they should be able to beef up the next xbox system.

If I were to create one TODAY, with todays hardware, DDR3, 45NM with under 150W pwr consumption, you can get a pretty dam good system. To pretty much make modding HARD-ER! they would need to impliment it on BLUE ray being it has MORE space it could theoretically hold more security software. BUT, modders will always find a way.
