    Where is my EEPROM located?
i know its somewhere in my Edrive...
    but where?
i've got unleashedx if that matters...

how do i tell what version my box is and if my frien's box is compatible?

@PAN5Y and steveo, i have to buy everything, my parents wouldn't buy me those.

    E:\backup

Your EEPROM backup is stored here.

yeah but like they say be careful because if its not then its going to lock your drive and im sure all will be lost unless you go chipped or can find a way to use an old dead motherboard to fix it all but im not sure

The one I did it to, had a modchip and that still did not revive it. The disc tray will not open and nothing is shown on screen at all.

Yep, I'm pretty sure it does. If not, then the program "ConfigMagic" will tell you.
