ahhh are you feeling okay? after update you can't take it away! its final! you cant do hdd maintainance and get your console downgraded!
I thought if you cleared the cache it would make you upgrade again. Don't kill me if I'm wrong.. I did the xxLBRBxx thing and I had to update everytime I put a different game in.
PM sent. I'm gonna try to flash a brand new Sammy, before I even turn it on and see if that gets banned too.
thank you for being the first to try. hope all goes well and if thats the case, then we all know what to do next!
Like I told you guys yesterday, I modded my brothers MS28 right out the box, he has 0 original games. He got banned yesterday.
No problem. I may not be the 1st since I don't think I'll get a chance to until early next week. My parents are flying to visit since it's my daughter 1st birthday this weekend which is also Memorial Day weekend. Regardless, I'm definitely doing it unless I hear reports of bans before. I know 2 people with non banned Sammys that were only flash once and before they went on Live.
PS2menance what firmware did you flash it out the box with and I know it's getting tired asking, but did he play any games that could sent off red flags?
looked there and no pattern emerging! no point ms got everyone except there hit was random! wait up till everyone gets caught! the jitter fix before spring and after spring update don't matter. neither does going on live with original firmware and then flashing later! no patter people who modded out of box banned and people who modded a year after using live banned! CAN"T SEE A PATTERN!! GIVE ME A SIGN! LET THE LIGHTING BOLT STRIKE MICROSOFT BANNING STATION AND FREE OUR SOULS!!! lol
Also a problem with that site is more people need to put more info in there like when they flashed and how many times.
So this is what I have discovered… After the spring update, my Samsung ms28 with NME-360 1.2 kept freezing up for a minute or so. This also happened to my Hitachi drive flashed with the 2.4 firmware. It seemed as if the spring update checked if the console was modded in any way, then reported the consoles serial number to Xbox Live, which in turn banned that console. Even if you not hooked up to broadband but have a modded console with the new spring update, you screwed when you connect to Live! Bad luck for people who want to reverse or remove their mods. If your console was modded when you updated your console with the spring update, the update will still report back to Live, and ban your console! So now you thinking, I won’t update my console with the spring update! Unfortunately all the latest 360 game’s like Forza 2 will have this security update on the disc. So, if you want to play online with originals and you have a modded console, reverse or remove your mods before you plan to update with the spring update. The update will report back to M$ that your console is Kosher!
This is pretty interesting guys. I filter by flashed before going on Live and Jitter check. Every most Samsungs aren't banned on that list and the ones that are either didn't have pre-Spring update jitter protection, played Crackdown (I'm assuming they hit the Halo Beta too), one guy had a chip and another didn't give extra info. http://www.locallans.com/index.php?do=addfilter&field=flashedbeforelive&id=1
read on another site that C4Eva has figured out how they are banning folks...and is working on a new firmware as we speak... supposed to only work for NEW/Unbanned consoles thou.... lets hope it works... the cat and mouse games begin!
Yeah, I've been keeping an eye on that database. Looking at the data gives me mixed feelings. There's plenty of people who flashed their firmwares before going on Live the first time. And yet plenty (nearly 50%) of them are banned. So I think this theory is proven false. Another big no-no is flashing back or to another firmware during springupdate period. I still think they are banning in batches, and you're lucky if you haven't been banned yet.
hey you think if I returned the console at walmart with a new one it would be ok even if you did not flash it back to the original firmware or would I have to flash it back thanks in advance
