I have just succesfully given my broken xbox a new dvd drive going from samsung ms28 to a crappier earlier hitachi v47 drive using jungleflasher tuts and ix151-47.bin spoofed to be the samsung. andall works great. question really is whatactualy will get me banned? if i played genuine games online and downloaded content etc frmo there site will this get me banned? or is it mearly playing backed up games online? shuld i get amore rescent flash version for ixtreme? if so where? And i have heard people saying if the backed up game isnot properly stealthed? what does this mean how is it done? and how can i check?
Nobody knows how ms bans people. It is believed they detect the burnt game, not the firmware... always check your game with abgx (this is how you stealth it). Ixtreme 1.51 is the latest firmware for hitachi.

It would be comical to see threads like this where none of the regulars replied at all, we'd have pages of posts such as "Is anybody there?" and "Who goes there" and "I'm sure i just heard a noise" as they're too scared to search for themselves As my 360's aren't modded i can only offer this advice ~
