I got a movie and had to convert the movie to DVD format from AVI using WinAVI. After doing so I burned the files on to disc using nero. However when I put the DVD in my DVD player i get an error message reading Playback Feature may not be available on this DVD. What gives? Thanks for the help

P.S. Hello everyone, juss joined and this is my first post, expect a lot of question from me. :)

Which tool in Nero (e.g. nero burning rom, nero vision express, nero recode) did you use, and were you burning as video or data disk?

O.K., let's say you have converted the avi into dvd compliant format successfully with winavi, here's how you might want to burn with Nero:

At Nero StartSmart, choose 'dvd', then 'copy entire dvd video', 'import dvd', then go to and highlight the 'Video_TS' folder of the movie, confirm, and follow from there.

Do try this and post again if you still get problems.

    Good luck!

Can you view it on the pc? If yes, then you probably have a media problem.
