hi i am having a bit of a problem. i have a starview box. all premium channels seem to work however basic channels such as bbc1, bbc2, itv and setanta sports have a large amount of flickering and interference making it unwatchable. i have put new codes, emu is on, restarted to factory settings and re-scanned all channels. i have basically tried everything which suggests to me that it is not connected to codes of some sort. what im thinking is it could actually be connected to the signal coming from my cable rather than a problem for the starview box, what do you guys think? thanks
What firmware is on your box ? Press the 'Menu' button on the remote and then select 'System Info' and post back what the API vers is.
its started working now! i have an extremely long cable wire with a join in it coming all the way from the front of the house right to the back. i connected the box to the join at the front (near the front tv), factory settings and then rescanned channels, took it to the back of the house and it started working. lol bit weird though. thanks for the help anyway mate rambo
