    I have a lot of audiobooks I would like to batch convert to 1.5X speed but the only software I have found/tried (Cute mp3 Cutter) is limited to < 100 minute tracks and can only process one at a time.

    Does anyone know of a free or cheap solution?

    Audacity should do it in a batch, under "Effects" use Change Tempo and apply to the files you want.Also it does not have the 100 minutes limit, and it is free.

    File->Import->Audio Import your files as a batch, select all by pressing Ctrl.

    Press Ctrl+A (or Edit->Select->All)
    Effect->Change Tempo; Here adjust the tempo that you'd like.
    File->Export Multiple . Choose The format,you can also click "Options" to chagne bitrate;
    -Choose a folder to export the new mp3s. If you choose the same folder as the source, make sure you untick "Overwrite existing files". Audacity will append a #2 at the end of the new tracks.

    Cyprusrom - Thanks!

    That is a little time consuming (about 3 min per 30 min track) but much better than splitting and joining.

    Thanks for your help.
