I started batch scripting a lot lately and recently stumbled on this application called 'Batch to EXE converter'. It's quite unique; it allows you to create an icon for those ugly crank .icos MS Windows sets as default for bat files, however it takes the bat & creates an exe file while hiding the registry files somewhere on your computer... this smells like a problem. So I've been using it for days without issues and suddenly my avast! catches it as a Trojan. Immediately i pull up google to do some research and everything comes back negative; yet CNET still hosts the damn file (so much for their no 'malware/spyware guarantees'). Anyway I was wondering whether I was the only person out there looking to customize default batch files into nice looking icons but more importantly I'd appreciate it if someone could point me towards and alternative program that does something similar. Thanks in advance!
Not to be a downer but that seems a little dumb but, to each is own, still sounds like a good idea though in regards I don't know what to tell you about software, you could try making your own icons and then changing the dir for it, if thats not what you were doing
