    Hey guys-

Im having a problem backing up my copy[legal, yes its amazying people still buy games ;)] of BF2(DVD). I also want to back up my BF2:SF.

I made 2 DVD copies, one wth Nero 6.6.06 and one with the demo version of CDClone. Both can install just fine- but not play. When I use deamon tools to use an image I made, the app hangs.

If anyone could guide me I really appreciate it. Or hit me to a link. I searched the forum and didnt find anything just some installing questions...

    Thanks for your help,

    Dave.

im not sure about DVD Protection (if thats what it is) cause its different to CD Protection...
i do not know how to help except maybe you try downloading IsoBuster, opening the disc with IsoBuster, then right clicking the cd in the left window area and selecting extract, then once it is extracted, download ImgBurn and burn img file and tell me how it works out...

difference is that IsoBuster reads data from the drive itself, instead of through windos

Nope that failed too. This thing has me beat.. I shoulda just bought the CDs. Im a fool.

This time I got a larger image, but it still is asking me to put in the darn DVD. I hate EA. I dnt feel like taking my orginals to college, destroying them and giving a company that creates half baked games more money. (My rant of the day)

The intresting thing is that I did get a larger imagie this time, and I used DVDdyrcptor(sp?) to burn it. ISOBurner requies $$ to burn a large imagine, and until it works im not intrested in buying it, but thanks for the help! It was worth a shot.
