battlefield 2142 demo problem

    I recently downloaded the battlefield 2142 demo on windows xp, everything installs fine and exe shortcut goes onto the desktop but when i try and the load the game an error message says that it cant play because d3dx9_29.dll cant be found, i've re-installing the demo but it still doesnt work, anybody know what i have to have installed to get this file?, thanks

    d3dx9_29.dll is a DirectX file. Re-install DirectX to get it back.

    i got a battlefield that i download nad my cd key is of the original, and when i try to login it says not connected to the internet hwo can thsi be fixed , o if can not should i buy the original,?
