Bbmayo's guide question- using shrink and decryptor

I don't understand how I could have messed up following this step by step guide with pictures. But apparently I did.
This is my first burn. I was copying an old dvd that had 0 protection. Everything went fine until the directions said to check file f in mode. The files on the right weren't selected and I couldn't figure out how to do that so I selected all 17 of them.
When it was time to select "title one" there were 4 files with that title. File 3 was the main movie file. I followed the rest of the directions.
The dvd will play in my computer but not in a stand alone. I'd like to know how to correct whatever I did before I burn again.

the easiest thing 2 me would be
re rip the movie with shrink (full disk option)
and save as an iso when it asks u 2 save

then burn iso with dvd decrypter...

If it plays in your computer but not your standalone then it is probably the media you are using. Are you sure your standalone DVD player supports this media? Check here http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers You just may have done nothing wrong it could just be the brand or type + or - media you are using.

Also if you have all the files from the disk on your hard drive use the Open files button in Shrink instead of using re-author. :)

    Hey BBMAYO,

Not to change the subject but I want to pick your brain a little. Bottom line and flat out, what do you feel is the absolute best media? I have jumped around from media...and I can't seem to find something that is completely all around the best. I sometimes have issues with even taiyo...any thoughts without starting a big controversy on this posting...just curious.... thanks!

I'm still confused about open vs reauthor. I have nero 6 and maybe I can figure out how to use this. The main thing I need to do is to get the dvd small enough to burn on a single disk.

I just order some TY. Current one is tdk+ made by ricoh.
