bbMPEG Error When Encoding For VCD

I'm using the afterdawn guide for copying DVD to VCD for the first time. Everything seems to go fine until near the end of the process and I get a bbMPEG error message that says "Error Reading From Input File". I assume that the encoding is not completed at this point because I don't see anything that looks like a completed MPEG. I have tried 2 different DVD's and received the same error message. Can anybody help me out here, I have no clue what to do?

    Hello one5one,

Here I have the exact same symptom as you. What I solved this issue is to close Dvd2svcd. Then I open up Tmpenc again and use the .mpv file as the source video file, .mp2 as the source audio file to encode to a NEW mpg file. It worked but I think its a waste of time to use Tmpgenc AGAIN to encode a new mpg file. If you have a better soultion, please let me know.

    Thanks
