on my pc I can download files hrough bearshare and bitcomet but my laptop doesn't even connect, bearshare has always the red light and bitcomet doesn't connetc as well. Is it because I ave only internet explorer? I don't know what t do.
Hey. First of all I wouldn't recommend Bearshare but w/e works for you. Depends what you are downloading? Do tell. In answer to your question it could be your firewall - Zonealarm is v picky about those things - also check your required ports are open. And with bitcommet - a gd client - but it could just be try another one... That's my two cents - hope it helped!
