As title says I was a victim of a previous ban wave and have only just got another 360. I have a few questions. I always back up my games from physical discs with a Kreon Drive. Is this method not safe anymore? I hear alot of talk about splitvid and kreon not being able to do ssv2 or something can someone clarify? What wave are they up to now and can the lastest firmware (im assuming LT) play these?
Also can someone explain how LT switch differs from flashing with regular firmware? Is there a way to power a 360 dvd drive without the board?
Kreon drives can't rip the extra angles (ssv2). There is a way to inject them via abgx. I myself use an 0800 drive to backup my games the proper way (ssv2). You want splitvid if you plan on using the latest firmware (LT) AFAIK, they are up to wave 6, and yes the newest firmware can play them.
