This is pretty odd. Sometimes my router will kick on and off and disconnect me then reconnect. I thought it was my DSL but i donno seems to only happen when going threw the router. Its work for a hour or 2 mins sometime and flashs red in the diag light. It still works and im using it now but its kinda annoying on games. could it just me my dsl losing speed and making the router reset for a sec or is it a router issue? Its not dead but i donno why it does this.

If you lost your DSL signal then it would be at least 30 seconds before you could probably get back online, if it's almost instantaneous then it's the router, if it does take about that long then it could be either the router or the DSL connection.

Possibly, faulty cables occur more often than you might think.
