I just ordered the 1655 it will be here thursday. I got the retail version. Now exactly what kind of software does it come with. from my understanding it should come with a nero suite 6.61 or something like that, Qsuite, and lightscribe software. now this is where it gets confusing for me. is the Qsuite and lightscribe software a part of the nero suite or are the seperate apps? I am now using nero 7 and do want to install an older nero. so if all those programs were to be in one suite what should i do can i install them seperately or do they all have to be installed as one or if i install/uninstall my nero 7 will it change and give me lightscribe capabilities since i have the benq 1655 installed.which way should be the best way to do it. sorry if this post is rather long and confusing. Thanks in advance to all that reply
I wouldn't downgrade the Nero, either ... I believe that you will get the BenQ bundled suite ... which is also available as a download from their site ... it is an excellent utility package ... I'm not sure what LightScribe software that you'll receive ... On second thought ... does your Nero7 have the ability to burn LightScribe? The version of Nero6 that you receive may be the only way that they expect you to produce labels ... You can always get SureThing SE4 for burning labels (it's free) you can get it here: http://www.lightscribe.com/about/index.aspx?id=87 .. excellent choice of a burner ... BenQ IS the best
