I have a BenQ1655 I put it in a external enclosure USB 2.0. Now I want to flash it its still using stock firmware (BCAB). My question is can I flaSh it via USB or is that a bad idea.
I dont want to take it out of the enclosure it will be a pain in the butt to get that drive out.
Its a older Bytecc it will probably take me a hour to get out
If anybody has any suggestions pleas feel free to post.
Thanks in advance to all that reply

How is the 1655 working for you in an enclosure? Thinking about doing the same thing...

    Hi,
BenQ recommend flashing via USB. When asked to reboot pc, make sure you switch off/on the caddy as well. In fact you don't need to reboot pc. Just the caddy.

Its working alright. I havent had any problems yet, besides this one.
If i could do it over i think i shouldve chose a better enclosure.
next time im going with a Venus those are a lot better.
