Ok just purchased a BenQ DW1620 drive , i can play dvd's etc just fine. But when i go to shrink to burn a dvd it doesnt recognize the blank media. i have tried a couple different dvd-r brands thinking maybe it was a media problem. In XP it shows the blank media in the drive so its picking it up there, i can also use dvd-identifier and nero tools to do scans of the blank media and that works just fine. Any idea's or help would be greatly appreciated. using dvd decrypter , then dvdshrink and nero to burn. have already updated to new firmware with still same response.
Only 2 programs comes to mind when the topic is copying movies. 1Clickdvdcopy & AnyDVD. AnyDVD works as background driver that takes the "Copy Right", "Region Code", and "Encryption" off the original movie, and source drive (D:/). Then 1Click opens up to copy the movie to the destination drive (E:/). If you want Regualarly updated software for all the Copy Right protected DVD's AND CD's...then dump this Shrink program and buy programs that get the job done!!! You get what you pay for.
