So, I was using DosFlash64 on a 64 bit system. I have signed the driver that came with it and it starts up. After that, it detect my benQ on one of the SATA ports and says i I want to send the magic keys. I press yes and it always fails. I even keep it open in vendor mode (with the 360 light flashing) and it always fails. Should I switch to a 32 bit system? Even though the pc detects my drive, is there still a chance my motherboard not being compatible with the flashing? thanks
um....I tried running JF 1.69 and turned off the driver protection on windows. Also, I used DSEO and signed the drivers...blah blah....test mode. But when I double click on JF as administrator, it just hangs...my whole computer does
lmao....you do indeed need a way to hook your drive to your pc, and that would be sata. if your onboard sata is compatible than no you dont need a sata card but as it seems yours is not and it locks up your pc than you prob need to invest in one. been a while but you should be able to get one shipped for under 10 bucks.
