ok so i have tried everything, from using orignals and then different back ups, and the whole knocking on the top thing, and the pushing the tray back in, everything aside of opening up my cas and doing something about it, but everytime i put a game in, it spins sometimes and then......open tray but theres a game in it, i dnt know what to do, i am totally ok with opening it up and fixing it, but it seems that i cnt find a place to tell me how to do it, so is there anyone that can help me with this huge prolbem.....
take the 360 apart, pull the dvd drive out, take the 4 screws out and the case will separate into top and and bottom.
A POT calibration of the laser fixed my BenQ Open Tray error. Maybe doing that will fix your issue. If not, maybe try cleaning the laser. If else fails, the laser will probably need replaced.
thanks guys i will try that out, and to the first post, i know how to take the drive apart, but with it is apart what do i do then is what i meant when i didnt know what to do...sorry for the mix up lol. but yeah i am getting annoyed with this and will try everthing to get it fixed, but if all else fails then i will just send it to ms, and pay the 100 dollars...
