I see that Beowulf is supposed to be an easy backup, yet I'm having some trouble. I'm trying to backup the Director's cut. Here are my steps: DVDFAB 4.0.5.1 > FixVTS > DVD Shrink. It encodes just fine but when I insert a disc to backup it tells me the file is too big and I need a bigger disk. I then went back and looked at the size of the file and I was good there. Is there something else hiding on the disk that DVDFAB didn't see?

yeah i didn't have any problem with the movie at all, using both clonedvd + anydvd and dvdfab decrypter

try doing the movie only and see if that works

I didnt have as much luck as everyone else.

I had HUGE problems backing up this DVD. One of the worst Ive had.
DVD was brand new bought from the box/store with no scratches NOTHING.

DVD shrink got the cyclic error.
DVD decryptor (on its own) didnt seem to work either.

DVDfab (newest version) didnt work for me (just hanged or said the DVD was dirty/scratched and couldnt read certain sectors - remember the DVD was brand new). DVDfab normally plows through anything its my GO-TO.

I finnaly! got ripit4me to work (via dvd decryptor) with a few yellow tag messages about replacing files or something.

Odd indeed as most of us had zero problems with this one.

Glad you got it sorted out though.

remember even a finger print can mess up the transcoding

dvdfab decrypter or anydvd handled it fine for 99.9% of us
