I am a student and am looking for a projector for 3 things: presentations, enlarged laptop (and desktop) display (will also be playing games), and home movies playing. Also, the resolution of the projector would be at the 1280x1024 mark. $1000 would be my limit. I don't know if that's possible, but i figure this is the best place to look.
doubtful at that price...the BenQ mp610 could be pushed to 1024 x 768 I believe and it's only 800 or so US. It's a nice DLP and is fairly light with a nice carry bag and slim remote. I use it for home theatre and for my PC sometimes and it's pretty decent plus it has a 3000 hour/4000 hour econo life rating on the bulb.
Thanks for the tip, quick question, is this: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicat...Sku=B145-7144&SRCCODE=GOOPROD&CMP=OTC-FROOGLE the same as this: http://www.projectorcentral.com/BenQ-MP610.htm Because both sites give different resolutions. The native is the same, but what it can be pushed to i mean. 699 at tigerdirect.com, not bad.
