Hi, i'm building a new pc, for myself. I want it to be really powerful but money is a concern too. I am going to have, a MATX motherboard and mATX case. In it i will have 2 gb memory, 300gb HD, dvd burner, dvd rom, ati all in wonder 9600 with 256 mb memory, also built in tv tuner. However i cannot decided between cpu's. I want to go with either the amd x2 4200 or the amd x2 4400. Their is a large price diffrence. And i know the amd x2 4400 performs better. But is it a big diffrence, or is it better to just buy the amd x2 4200
the only differnce that i can see is the Cache on that 4200 = 512 + 512 where as the 4400 = 1024 + 1024 both being 2.4ghz, as someone once put it 90% is the Ghz 10% cache so its up to u.
